He then made the transition to the spoken word LYRIC ministry in 2006 and became ministry leader in October of the same year. Rev. Anthony has also worked with and overseen the youth, media and radio ministries as well.

After wrestling with how he could work for the Lord, Rev. Anthony joined the Ministers in Training program at Empowerment Temple AME Church in January 2007 and through great teaching and a lot of help from the Lord; God has seen fit to trace his path towards itinerant ministry. Licensed to preach in March 2009 and ordained an Itinerant Deacon in March 2018 by Bishop Adam Jefferson Richardson, Rev. Anthony graduated from Howard University School of Divinity with a Master of Divinity in May 2021. Rev. Anthony Reliford was ordained an Itinerant Elder in October 2021 by Bishop James Levert Davis. His focus scripture for ministry is Joshua 1:6 which reads, “Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.” Rev. Anthony believes he is called and equipped to lead people into the promises God has for them and will do so with God’s help and the Holy Spirit’s lead.
