The mission of Collins Temple African Methodist Episcopal Church is to enhance the spiritual and intellectual growth of its members by advancing the kingdom of God through its programs of preaching the gospel, caring for the needy, reclaiming those who are no longer active, reaching out to the community with hope of salvation, and providing a fitting edifice to serve as a house of prayer and worship where the glorious presence of almighty God will lift our souls to new heights of praise and adoration.
